It was chukkas of magnificent derring-do and glorious uncertainties, but, in the end? Howard Taylor and his Dynasty, plus their SoHo cohort (Christan Chaves - similar to Hugo Chavez but this dude is in London!), left Holders victorious. This tie of 4-all was final, despite one extra Sudden Death chukka and both sides held their ground.
(More could not be done because horses can only take so much – I learned this from Sir COW at the Hilton, he mentioned it in a rather rude manner in mixed company when I asked, but I forgave him since he looks at horses the same way I love cats)

Philip Tempro tried saving the day in the second chukka and made it 2-all, but Cheshire in the third and fourth chukkas brought the game to a tie. As there was light, there was one more chukka but a Sudden Death event – whoever scored first would be the overall winner, but each side defended their ends to the bitter end.

Oh, that went to Georgia Evelyn… That’s the daughter of the captain of the Barbados team who fought Cheshire that afternoon…
