Nicole Garofano explains the concept behind the Green Footprint as the Trust’s Official Logo
Nicole also took time in her presentation to acknowledge the hard work of a quartet from UWI who came up with Marketing Strategies for the Trust, in appreciation – Roslyn Watson. Israel Mallett, Ravi Shankar & Melissa Bohne – have all been conveyed Honorary Memberships for the environmental group.
The Trust’s Chairperson is Publisher Vivian Anne Gittens, who who sees the Board’s mandate as not only to embrace everyone into the Green Footprint of Barbados but for all Bajans to adopt this significant Lifestyle change to ensure there are more tomorrows to go around{CLICK ON LINK FOR FULL AUDIO CLIP};-
The FCT’s next immediate initiative is no Plastic Bag Day which The Bajan Reporter plans to participate at Big B next Saturday, 8th May… One wonders if Mrs Gittens’ publication will acknowledge the Web Magazine’s existence, given that publications’ propensity to use ideas from blogs yet not acknowledge their existence?
